Transparent

I picked up a couple of these clear plastic boxes at Michael's Crafts the other day. Dirt cheap of course, thanks to overseas sweatshop labour and lax environmental controls :(

As you can see they make pretty decent single-miniature display boxes. A couple of sheets of foamcore were used to raise the mini's base, all held together with double-sided tape.

  1. Oh noes!! a clear Jelly Cube ate your adventurer!!

My girlfriend is always suggesting me to do the same... here those are really cheap and are avaliable in diferent shapes and sizes. I've found the ones that resemble a slot car display great for squads, gangs, etc.

You may try the ones that use weaker and flexible plastic. Those are even cheaper, keeps your minis dust free and you save lots of space when you have some empty since they are flat. I call them transparent origami boxes.
